Michelle Vigen Ralston – Berkeley 2025

This day started with waking up in the Presideo of San Francisco. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday by enjoying the incredible city that is situated often too close to actually recognize and enjoy. Later in the day, the kids joined us and we rolled around on the grassy lawn, climbed down trees at the Tunnel Tops playground, and enjoyed a deli lunch before retreating to our hotel to watch a nature documentary before bedtime. It was a full beautiful day, kites flying, sailboats on the bay, and a rare show of sun. For me, it was also a day of rest and relaxation, a chance to take a walk by myself, read my book, and have no where else to be. Amazing how close a real vacation-feel can be when you live in the Bay!
