March 9 wasn’t particularly memorable for us, but March 13 was the day Stuart started working from home, commandeering the dining room table. He’s point person/editor for the LA Times’ coronavirus stories. Meanwhile, my work table is in the bedroom, where I can shut the door. Will publishing houses be buying novels by the time I’ve finished mine? Only time will tell, as lazy journalists often end their stories.
